Real Texas Barbecue in Manhattan

Bowden made a trip to NYC on Friday to get his new external processor for his cochlear implant tuned. After a day walking around Manhattan, taking in the Dali exhibit at MOMA, Bowden met up with brother Chris and his girlfriend Aura. Chris took us to an authentic Texas barbecue for dinner. After visiting Dad's family in Texas Hill Country, we know what real Texas barbecue should be like. You would not think you could find it this authentic in Manhattan but Hill Country Barbecue comes mighty close!

Bowden,

A real Texas babeque indeed. But did they allow you to smoke a cigar?

Can you send me your e-mail? My last Postcards chronicle announcement bounced.

Unfortunately no cigars allowed due to the NY State smoking ban... We did notice we could have sat outside. They had set up dining al fresco along the sidewalk after we had already sat down inside.
