The 9th Annual Northeast Reunion for the Chinese Children Adoption International (CCAI) agency was held in Rochester on Saturday, July 19. Since we were camping in nearby Cayuga Lake State Park, it only took us 45 minutes to get there. We saw many familiar faces, the Doolins, Sovies, and Austins among others. No hamburgers, hotdogs and assorted chinese goodies for lunch this year (instead, a boxed lunch from Wegmans!) but we still had a good time seeing everyone and enjoying the festivities: arts and crafts, a lion dance, parade of provinces, and raffle.
