Most of the surrounding area was hit by a massive ice storm last Friday. Some 77,000 homes were without power during the aftermath. We lost power for 3 days -- From 3:30AM Friday to 3:30PM Sunday. Most areas have had their power restored, a few rural areas are still waiting. The storm made for a challenging weekend logistically, trying to stay warm, keep the pipes from freezing, and charging cell phones in the car. It really does get dark early these days!
